Facilitated school improvement and grade increase at Chattahoochee Elementary School in 2010-11 school year from an F to a C, gaining a total of 176 points, making it one of the most improved schools in the state of Florida. In 2013, the school improved to a grade of B. Encouraged students to persevere with challenging tasks to assist in not only school improvement but also sustaining it. Established positive relationships with students, parents, teachers and the community. After successfully laying a solid foundation, the school under its new leadership improved to an A in 2014.  Was moved from CES in November 2012 following an unsuccessful bid for the office of Superintendent.
